Passion for glory?

-More often, we give up passion for glory-

Saw this phrase somewhere and i found it so true!

how often do we follow our passion in the reality.

I find this so true in the aspects of job hunting.

More than often, we go for big, well established, well rank companies to work for.

Instead of following what you are really interested in, The brand name was often the one that we look out for.

Eg: between Creative and Microsoft, which do u go for?

In this case, it is seen as glory, the glorious brand name of the company

Passion in singapore is often seem as something that you cannot do for a living.

For example, if you are really a good singer, u do your passion as leisure, not for life.

its something that one may persude only if he has earn enough $ to survive.

Its kinda sad to see this coming true and even more true in the further generations.

Realised that my younger cousins do no know what passion stands for,

more than often, they are force to go for classes they dun like but because their mother wants them to,

They spend their free time facing the computer playing the games, rather than running around in the playground or catching spiders.

They find archaes and amusement parts more interesting as compare to the beaches and forest.

Will they ever find their passion in such an environment?

For me,

Although i may not know how to play the piano or any other music instruments,

nor do i excel super good in sports,

my passion in life lies in volunteering in prayer hall.

FT is like the pirority if my life, as it gets all the time i could afford.

i found my besties and grew up with them there.

i found my dear there

i found my faith there

My dear kids on sun tuition class are like my brothers and sisters.

and i am kinda determined to keep this passion going in my life.

Perhaps its because our seniors passed on their loved and caring to us

that changed our lives and touched us,

i feel so much motivated to pass down the love to the next generation

and hopefully touched their lives as much as or even more than i was touched.
