Life as a professional student = no life

Okay this is NOT the season to whine- yet.
But upon stepping into this world-class institution, i was left with very little time for myself without feeling guilty of the pilling books and all. Weekends are mostly spend rushing for assignments or preparing for tutorials. And i get to know a "new" BF who transformed from PHGM to BLM! Busy-lab monster. He needs to go into his lab to ensure the cells grow on weekends = no time for dates!

But we managed to make the best out of the situation which will worsen in November. I have a shocking 22 deadlines to follow while BLM have to mug for his exams and honors thesis. So we spend our weekends like this:

Being the most supportive GF, i gave up my big ( and clear the messy) table to him while i work in the cosy corner. We spend the whole afternoon doing this, sometimes in slience, sometimes in distraction while we gossip and check out facebook. I forsee this to be on-going till Dec but i am glad that we still have each other during times like this. :)

Tried Veganburg and we were pretty disappointed!

We ordered a meal of seaweed fries, hawanian burger and apple black current drinks plus a ala cart burger tangy tartar for $15++! and we don't feel full after finishing the meal.

We prefer to have subway and fries for healthier choice.

But all praises for the uber fast service and its really popular! The air conditional place is full and both of us have to sit outside.Cudos to the cool and chilled weather :) And randomly, i find the east air much fresher and less hazy.

There is a wide range of burgers avalible here!
And they are ALL organic (except for the fries).
So indulge in it without feeling guilty k? however, some contains onions and garlic, so do read the menu carefully and choose your burger! We both prefer tangy tartar ( Mock Fillet O Fish ). Good business concept and cheers to the first vegetarian fast food restaurant!

Veganburg is 5 minutes’ walk from Eunos MRT Station. Nearest parking: Eunos MRT Station car park

By private transport
Exit PIE by Eunos. East bound vehicles turn right into Jalan Eunos, West bound vehicles turn left into Jalan Eunos. As there are limited parking spaces near the shop front, you may park your vehicle at the Eunos MRT Station and walk across. (Map)
By public transport

Alight at Eunos MRT Station & walk east wards. We are across the road, next to Jalan Yasin. Bus servicing Jalan Eunos: 15, 21, 25, 51, 60, 61, 63, 93, 94, 854, 966, NR7
